Differential question
« on: March 07, 2010, 10:51:09 PM »
So I had an old jeep pickup with Dana 44's and 3.54's.  My question is would running 3.55's in the front and those 3.54's in the rear be a huge deal?  I know the consequences of having 2 different geared diffs, but didn't know if this much would make a difference
thanks

If it seems like a good idea at the time it probably isn't!

No, that small of a difference is fine and was original factory install on a lot of vehicles.  Its just the way the math works out when you do the numbers. Tons of vehicles are running around with that combo straight from the factory.
