Banff area 4x4 trails

Gents!  Heading to Banff this week end.... anyone knows of any easy trails with nice views.... Taking wife along for anniversary... so not a thrill seeking type of a drive !!  :'(

I think wheeling in the park is ill advised..

theres no legal trails in banff national park ..  sorry

ask the Ranger when you get in ... they will show the the best ones  ;D ;D ;D the Jeep might have to stay in the parking lot though.


You cannot wheel in a National Park dude....

I know of a couple of good ones.
If you go over the stone bridge and hang a left you can follow that trail all the way to Hotel's valet parking. The lounge is upstiars and the spa is on the left.
If you are up for a challenge, you could try the back route which takes you up the 9th to 18th holes. Just stay on the fairway because the the sandtraps and water hazards are brutal.

All kidding aside, even the fire roads are off limits in the park. The closest thing to "off-road" that you're going to get in Banff is driving the Bow Valley Parkway from Sunshine up to Lake Louise.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(
