its getting huge! thats why i am trying to get a better head count to see who is really coming.

That's what she said.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

I'm angling to see if I'll be able to go. This snow is buggering my work schedule in a big way (been sitting at the airport since 11:00 this morning, watching my flight get delayed....and delayed....and delayed....) so I won't know for a while yet.

If I can make it, I'd be happy to lead a small group in order to keep each of the groups to a manageable size.

We should plan on another meeting at the Gravel Pit so we can get some cool pics of everyone together. The pic at www.calgaryjeep.com has 25 vehicles so we could surpass that easily.

because this happened to me on the weekend i thought i would post it here so that people would know.

a hitch is not considered a proper tow point.

in order for it to be a proper tow point you need to have a reciever shackle. this is so that we can properly connect a winch cable to your hitch. like so.

these are inexpensive and can come in many different varieties.
this one from princess auto is also acceptable.

perhaps we can get a section together on proper tow points in the frequently asked questions.

i will be checking all jeeps for proper towpoints and other general issues before we head out on sat. the main thing we are concerned about is peoples saftey and we want every one to come out and have a good time. this should be a really good run and i look forward to seeing every one on the trail.
