Seat bolt pattern
« on: May 06, 2010, 02:03:00 PM »
Hi - I lost the measurements I took when I sold my stock 93 YJ seats - I am fabing up some brackets for my new seats and am hoping someone wouldn't mind measuring the bolt patterns for both seats, - The distance between front pass bolts, rear pass, driv front and driver rear would do the trick for me  (if they happen to have a set out of their YJ right now)

Thanks,Rob

12, 12, 14 and 16.  ;D

Seriously though, why don't you measure what will fit your jeep/new seats instead of trusting someone elses measurements?
Why even bother taking measurements from the old seats if you have new ones?

Thanks Frenchy !

My stock seat brackets are (well were) pretty beat up  so I wanted to make sure they were aligned properly before securing them back to the floor and drilling in the new slider pattern, which luckily will fit right onto the stock brackets with only 1" width added to the seat pattern (was worried getting the width wrong might lead to a little sway or lean )

I should have said adaptors, not brackets in the original post - anyway glad to say I won't need to make adapters as the aftermarkets will just squeeze in
