ARB air pump fitting install problem

The "flange" shown in the photo will not clear the body of the pump and if I swap it with the pressure sensor the hose fitting will have to point directly to one side.  The other way the fitting would point to the front.  I can't see how the flange would come off.  Anyone had this problem? Am I missing something?

I just did this install on my TJ.
I take it you bought the inflate kit ?
The kit comes with a nipple that screws into the body of the pump (at the top). The air fitting with the flange screws into the top of the nipple, and the pressure switch screws into the side of the nipple.
Make sure you use some heavy duty teflon tape and some good pipe dope as I had a tough time making those fittings seal air tight.
