TJ Anti Theft....

Any thoughts on what works and what does not work.... to prevent theft of our Jeeps...  ?  Is a "Club" type product all we need to stop the "punk joy riders"..   I am sure a pro will get your rig if he really wants it.  Just looking for some ideas, without giving away any secrets..>!!!!!!

A battery cut off switch.  No power no go.  An aftermarket alarm system.  Even just a blinking light will detour some would be theif.

yea.  go to B&E and get a flashing 12 volt LED and connect it to a relay so when your ignition is off, the light starts flashing.

someone posted a horn connection to the brake.  was funny to think of and pain in the arse to remember... but at least you can follow your jeep haha

I will share a old trick long before the time of good car alarms. Buy a old Van floor mounted high beam switch, mount it somewhere under the carpet or places that you only know it is, have it act as a power kill switch , one tap power is off to IGN, main whatever you choose, a second click and its live again. I would recommend if your not tech savvy call lemon Aid Jay as I am sure he has rigged these simple yet amazingly effective systems.

I usually just pop my hood and pull the ASD relay, she'll turn over but not start.
Buy some safety glasses.
You can jackoff with a fake hand but you cant see out of a glass eye.

Killing the ignition power with the floor switch is a great idea...!!!   The flashing led is good too... what is B&E...?

Hi Guys ...
My First post here ... anyway I'll be moving over to Calgary on July 5th ... buying a Wrangler (TJ or JK) ... and hoping it won't get stolen it seems :-)

Anyway: I'm all for simplicity, so I'll be getting me something like this:
