go celtics...

Wow, that is a lot of views Vinman!

No one was hurt. One passenger actually went in the vehicle HAPPILY because she thought he was going to roll it on purpose, only she thought he would be in it... ;D

No stupidity involved. But it was the day, that many found out our ramp is very long compared to standard built ramps.
Tim (WOLF359) had done that a few times prior to trying it on our ramp. Because our ramp was LONGER, his hummer got further changing the balance point he was used to. LOL
So, when he lifts the rear (as he has done a few times before this day) it goes over... as it was unstable  and he had not accounted for it.

Overall in 10 years very few rigs have ever maxed out our ramp. i haven't followed the competition over the years but for the first 5 years of that ramp, i think 2 rigs ever maxed it out. And i could be wrong, it might have only been 1.

Very cool story and video however it looks pretty dangerous. Is that normal practice to jump out of a rig while on the ramp? Surely it must be taboo after this incident? bummer.

clayton did it at National's open house.  the same year during the show and shine, the guy in the chevy truck maxed it out (forward and backwards), then he did it again last year in his big yellow machine with tractor tires.  that's the only 3 i know from my time here (4+ years).

actually looking at the 2009 gallery, he still had a foot or so to go last year so didn't max the ramp.  his big white truck did though i am sure.  will check my pics at home.

I have a special request....We should have some run-out off the back side of the ramp and instead of turtle races, we'll see who can carry their Jeep the furthest on 2-wheels...Who is with me?
