92 YJ O2 Sensor Question
« on: July 05, 2010, 06:21:39 PM »

With all the discussion about gas mileage, I have a question

When I got my 92 YJ, the O2 sensor was missing, just an empty hole ..... anyway, I did replace the sensor: But I did not notice any difference.

I read in the manual that a dealer has to replace these (reprogram), Is this correct, is the computer affected?

Tx

Dwight

No..thats garbage...if you put a new sensor in, and reset your computer you will be fine, you wont notice a huge difference either way..

Thanks for the reply

I had assumed that there would be a warning light or something

I assume that the computer re-sets when the battery is disconnected?
