Hey Mike.
i think you found a site that unofficially hates mud! ;D
After spending thousands on worn out parts due to mud, i avoid it at any cost.

But, if you love mud, please wash your vehicle asap to avoid being 'that guy' in Calgary.
Cheers and welcome.

Couldn't resist  ;D

Mike ...I freakin' hate mud too... Your jeep is too new for you to realize what it does to it. After spending a few Ks on it because of the mud; you'll join the " I hate mud" club  ;)

welcome to the site!

I learned MY lesson with mud... that good 'ol Mclean mud got itself all in my fan and it took me three washes to get it all out. It's fun, but nasty.

Thats ok, at least it"s easy to get the mud off your fan.  Wait till you take off your shock boots and find them full of mud, frame rails, full of mud, pulled out about a hundred puonds of mud soaked carpet, my fuse panel, full of mud, mud eats u-joints, but what the hell, I can't resist it.  I try to go around it but I'm drawn to it and some how end up going right threw the middle of it. ;D  What do I get in return???  A jeep that spends 95% of it's life broken in front of my house, but I sure have fun with it.
I just can’t resist a good mud hole!  🤦

Working my YJ rebuild this summer has been like an archeological dig - everything from sand in the frame rails from Oregon to recognizable layers and colours from all across canada - probably the coolest find was that super fine pink stuff from Moab underlying almost everything in every nook and cranny, still there from 12 years ago, even under the body mounts - the missus actually refered to my efforts as "Kinda like erasing memories". (We got married on a whim in Vegas while travelling from Death Valley to Moab on that trip, so our jeep has a commemrative value - some people have a saved piece of wedding cake, we have a beat-to-snot YJ as a wedding souvenier LOL)  - As the invested hours accumulate on this one I am warming up to the "I hate mud club" big time LOL
51 Willys CJ3A - V6, SM420, T18, D44/27 lockers
93 YJ, starting to see light at the end of the carport
98 ZJ, 5.2l - DD with too many go go gadgets
05 Dodge 2500HD hauler
