Going to keep looking there must be some nitro rc crawlers out there as well
I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.

The words "Nitro" and "Crawler" have no business being in the same sentence.

Nitro engines are simply not made for crawling, go brushless electric.

Axial AX10 or SCX10 are a perfect starting point... until you realize you have more into ur crawler then ur real rig  :-[

might as well go with the new XR10 when the shops in town finally get them in.  The AX10's are pretty cool though.  There are lots of mods to make them more capable than out of the box.
