JK leaning to the right

There seems to be less clearance on the passenger side at the back than on the driver side.
If I jack it up and get the axle level then measure the clearance would that be the best way to confirm the difference?
If there is a difference does it mean one of the coil springs is sagging? Even the front of the tire rubbed the rock guard end on the trail and that has never happened before. Any thoughts?

Check your spring and shock brackets to make sure one isn't cracked off or bent down (or up), other than that a broken spring. Sag is possible but unlikely one would sag that much more then the other.

Make sure to check the OTHER side too in case something is jammed under/between spring/shock/bumpstop and holding it up.

Move the beer cooler to the center of the Jeep and see if that fixes the problem..........

Mine leans to the right too, but I assumed it's just because I'm right handed.


Seriously thought are we talking a few inches? or less than an inch difference?

That's what I want to establish. It appears to be between 1 and 2 inches.  I want to get it up on jacks, level the axle and do some accurate measures.  I'm assuming that is the way to tell for sure.  My concern is that the rear wheel never rubbed before, and a couple of people have commented on the rear being low (and they were looking at the right side) recently, so I want to see if something is giving way. Or if the springs are different heights. Or something else?

My heep is a little lower on the pass rear as well, maybe 5/8". Its leaf sprung though. I think it can be a combination of things, but its not irregular for springs to sag differently whether its a jeep or a car. The body torques to the back pass corner as well from the throttle, depending how heavy the foot is...

Could be a simple track bar adjustment that is required.  As the suspension settlies a little , it will lean to one side. The lift on my heep is about three years old now and it lists a little. Next time i put on new tires it will get an alignment then.

hahaaaa ok ok....so who doesn't enjoy some healthy throttle every once in a while..... :D
