Fixing tire chain
« on: September 20, 2010, 08:23:19 AM »
With winter coming, I remembered that one of the bars on my tire chains broke last year.  Where does one get replace links and can I just weld it in?

Ive welded tire chains before,I think its fine.Just make sure your weld can hold up to the abuse that they can receive.

A little spatter here and a dab of heat there - should be fine!   ::)

I think I may have lost link so I will need to add something.  Can you get replacement links?
