Hey all

Well, was out at Wiaprus yesterday. Day was absolutely phanomenal. Could't have went better, until, on our way out my Jeep lost all power and down I went backwards down the trail at approx. 70k, mainwhile the guy behind me at the bottom of the hill was fixing his Jeep, so in order to not nail him and his Jeep and probably kill him I had to turn, of course turning my Jeep rolled two or three times before coming to a stop. Scary stuff. Anyways the reason for the post is I was wondering if anyone is planning a trip to Wiaprus sometime this week or this weekend, I need to round someone up just to help me get my Jeep back to the Road, there is only one hill and then it gets to the River bank and from there its easy out to the bridge. I am willing to pay for your time if anyone is willing to help. I know exactly how to get it out, and with 2 or 3 other rigs there would be no problem at all. Any response would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys
Cody

Hey Cody. Sorry to hear that.

I cant go tonight, but I am free tomorrow night.  All I have right now is a CJ5 to use, so I cant likely drag you anywhere, but its an extra winch and rigging if you need it.

Are all the wheels still on? Are you going to need a flatdeck, or calling a towtruck?

Let me know.

Its tipped up, passenger side down. All I will need is 2 units with winches. Right now I have no idea if it will run, its been sitting on its side since last night so not sure. The body is completely ruined as you can imagine, but mechanically might be not too bad. I am hoping to head out tomorrow evening. Thanks alot guys.

Cody,

do you have a spill kit? Should have one incase fluids have seeped out. I will bring one of mine if you dont have one, you can buy it off of me if you need it.

You will need to bring oil, and antifreeze incase it will run you home. Also bring a couple bottles of 80-90 (2 litres), some brake fluid, and ATF (2litres).

thanks Steve

All I want to do is tow it off of the trail and out to the gravel road, from there a tow truck will haul it out.  (Bnine) if you could bring a spill kit as I dont have one, if needed I will pay you for it of course. I will bring extra fluids.

Thanks everyone.

Ok so I good friend of mine just called. The guys I wheeled with yesterday went out first thing this morning (without letting me know  :D ) and apparently the Jeep runs, the body is destroyed but they managed to get it running. They winched it back on all fours and are driving it out right now. Good to see people pulling together in time of need. Big thanks to all of you Joel, Bnine, Steve, Brian, Maax. Hopefully be back on the trails soon.

Thanks
Cody
