Check out The Mustang Shop, or Western Motorsport. They are Ford/Mustang specific performance oriented shops. They can get you the Ford injectors you're lookin for.

Depending on what you plan to do, the Ford/Bosch 19# yellow-top units are a common swap. If you need a higher flow rating, the Bosch units used in the Chrysler 2.4Ls are a popular swap for the 4.0L among Aussie jeepers. I have some links about injector swaps at home I'll post later.

Personally, I rebuilt a set of the Ford/Bosch 19# yellowtops for my 5.2. (they were run for about 3 seconds before an unrelated issue lunched my engine right after the injector swap.) Since I'm going to a 5.9L, I got a couple sets of the Bosch 0280155703 units (23#) from some Sebrings/Cirruses in the boneyard for flowmatching & rebuilding.

So, yeah, lots of options out there without paying serious coin for brand-new injectors.

I've got some 19# Ford Yellow Top fuel injectors kicking around in my garage. I'll have my FRPP 30#'s off next year as an option as well...wee bit of overkill though.

mopac, on 16th ave between 1st street and center street. i've always got my parts from there when I built my probe. they usualy gave me good deals. if you give them the (Bosch 0280158044, Bosch/Ford 0280155710) part number they will get what you need. give them A call they might have some in stock.

Hey I just did this upgrade today with the 19# Ford yellow toppers and it smoothened the idle out lots. well worth it

New clean injectors will cure alot of low rpm problems. Upgrading to higher flow injectors are for curing top end fuel starvation issues for built engined (cam, big throttle bodies, header etc) where the stock injectors can't deliver enough fuel at max injector pulse width. Low rpm requires finely atomized fuel for a smooth idle, 3000rpm up the engine isn't so fussy, just needs lots of fuel which a stock injector should be more that sufficient to deliver. Buy better fuel to keep your stock injectors clean and you should have fewer problems n

Most jeeps calculate air being draw in to determine the amount of fuel to add. The O2'sensors try to balance the fuel mixture for proper combustion. If high flow injectors are used it adds more fuel than it's supposed to making the mixture too rich, the O2's will sence this and lean out those high flow injectors.

So just my opinion, spend money elsewhere....

^ Injectors like the Ford-Bosch yellowtops (19#) actually flow a bit less than the stock injectors. The upgrade associated with them is that they have a much better spray pattern (quad vs single pintle) that produces the better fuel atomization you mentioned.

This is an old post I do realize that, but for those still reading this, here is a great writeup on those bosch 4 hole injectors, and a good link to a guy in the US that rebuilds them. Bought myself a set for $109US .
