thanks very much for the quick reply.I did look at my rubi and it does have the recovery points in the rear as well.I did go through all the replies on this discussion and I will head down to Modern Motors right now and get some recovery gear.I would really wanna upgrade the jeep with lots of goodies, but i will wait till i meet you guys.I am sure i can get some advice on what's best and price affordable and so on.

Good stuff!

Please don't feel that you need to spend a pile of money right away. The best advice that I can offer for equipping and modifying your Jeep is move slowly. Spend some time coming on open runs and attending meetings - you will get to see what other people have done with their rigs, get a chance to figure out what does and doesn't work on the trail - and decide what you want to be able to do with your rig. After some time coming out wheeling with us, you'll know what sort of mods are appropriate for your rig, and then you will be able to spend your money with confidence - you won't end up making the same mod twice because you didn't get it right the first time.

I think you'll find that once you ask a Jeep guy a question about his rig, the hardest part is getting him to shut up.  :-[
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

I am planning on running as well, and other than a bumper and winch, I am stock all the way around.

Believe me when I tell you that your stock Rubicon is more than capable of getting you into and out of most messes.

You may here some funny thumping and grinding sounds coming from undercarriage, but that is mostly just your skid plates doing their jobs (it is all part of the fun).

You will be absolutely amazed.

I ran my 07 bone stock for 2 years (well a bumper and Winch) and every time I went out I was more amazed at what these vehicles will do.

Indeed it is twenty one rigs. How many ways do we want to split this run? Two groups of ten or so? Three groups of six or seven? One long conga line, that stretches from the four corners to the margaret lake trailhead?

If we go to three groups, we'll need members to volunteer for lead and tail gunning positions.
