Stan the Man - Northridge
« on: January 12, 2011, 12:07:17 PM »
Yup I am well aware it has been said before but I feel that vendors that take care of their customers and go that extra mile deserve to be mentioned.

I talked to Stan on a bunch of stuff (just search my recent posts and you will see I am all over the map) anyway without getting into details I have a few multipart orders in now.  He was awesome, and patient in answering my many questions and even provided some opinion and insight on a few things, his prices are very very competitive and well I mentioned his service so if you are thinking of buying..........even if you don't see it on Northridge4x4.ca give him a call or drop him a note he just may be able to help you out.

Any vendor is happy to take your money.............it is the rare one too which you are happy to give it.  Looks like Northridge has a new customer in me.

I carry a Northridge4x4 business card in both my Jeep and work truck as well as one in my wallet. About the only way he could improve my views on his business was if he was local so I could go shopping in person, but with free overnight shipping to my door it's a pretty decent solution!

+1 on Stan being good to deal with. He's taken good care of me for the past year and a half.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

i've never dealt with Stan as i was dealing with David stateside.  In 2003, Northridge was just breaking in on the scene. The way David treated me and many others i sent his way was first class. Good to see that the apple does not fall far from the tree.
sent from my old school rotary dial phone.

Excellent customer service, he takes care of all his customers no matter what.
I bought quick disconnects and I was sent the wrong size, didn't notice until I greased them (dumb me) , I talked to Stan, he assured me it was okay, I sent them back and got the right size.

very true, he was able to print some receipt for me that I could not find to hopefully get a decent buy out from insurance.

I know it was a pain for him, but he was great and I will always tell people about him.

Northridge rocks, I order OME shocks on tuesday, got them on wednesday! I got my Currie springs from them too, both for good prices nobody in town could touch.

I bought my OME lift from him too.  He was great.  I was going to Bashaw anyways so I went and pick it up and he made an great price and threw in a RE front track bar for 50 bucks for coming and picking it up.  No complaints here.  I wish Calgary had a place like this.  Other places, I wont point fingers, told me no one is building Jeeps anymore so we don't stock parts and such for them.  Good luck with that attitude local suppliers, you lost another customer with cash in his hand.

I have done a few orders through Stan and he is excellent to deal with...very helpful going out of his way for anything you need.
If you get a chance take a trip up to Ponoka to pick up...he has a shop full of parts. I went up looking for a steering stabalizer and ended walking out with new Currie Tie Rod set up!!!
Thanks Stan!!!

LOL. Probably b/c Stan has single handedly  stolen all local jeep business.  People get fed up waiting for months for parts to arrive, when Stan can offer next day delivery, and depending on item the shipping is free.  8)

There's some truth to that. His prices are competitive, and he tends to have things in stock and get them to you in a reasonable amount of time.
