Question about the Gallery

Hello all, I'm sorry if this isn't an appropriate section to post this question, but I wasn't sure where else to ask:
Why can't I view my own gallery? I can post comments to it, upload pictures, etc. but when I click on the picture, I'm denied access. Other members have tried to view my pictures as well and were denied access... is it because I'm not an official member?

It says "You are not allowed to view this category."

Permissions are set to only allow members to access... am somewhat surprised you can even upload or comment.  I will look into it

That would be great   my Dad back in MB uses this site and likes see whats new on my Jeep on occasion.  Also, I thought I'd mention that all of my pictures except for the latest one are marked "approved" so I figured I was allowed to throw a few pictures up

permissions are based on catagory.  there are some areas you can see and some you cant.
typically when you upload a photo, i go in and approve it or delete it.  then i move it to the appropriate area.  might be that area is one you aren't allowed access to.

anyway the gallery is a nightmare and very buggy.  i cannot edit or remove the area that allow you to upload. 

i have been looking at different ones but they all suck for this SMF board.

i suggest you use facebook to upload your photos and share them with friends because this place won't have a good gallery for a while yet.  other things got to happen first.

Ok, thank-you for taking the time to explain FiEND. Whatever you did seems to have worked  , now people who go to my profile can see my pics so I really appreciate that.
