Install for a lift kit? Cost? Who?

Been a while since I've been on this site - had to re-register - but I finally rekindled my love for my 98 Wrangler that has been sitting in my garage for 2 years. Currently have a 2" coil lift - but wanted to move up to a 4" full suspension lift (National 4WD has them on for $615 or something). 1st - is this a good deal? 2nd - Do I get them to install it? (at what cost?) and 3rd - anyone out there put one in and would like to do another? Happy to pay going rate if the job is done right...jut not sure what that rate is. I have a kegerator in my basement that needs to be consumed as well, so that may entice?

Had it in at Renfrew last month and they said i needed new shocks so I might as well upgrade it a little....

agreed on upgrading!

cal Jay at Chanda Automotive.. he can hook you up with a lift and the install. he does good work.

or you can call Dave at Broken Axle. he should be able to help you with the install as well.  both are good honest guys and will treat you well. 

last word, do you research on what lift you wanna run, and ask some questions!  there are many options on the market.

thumbs up for dave @ Broken Axle.  He and my jeeps go way back.  He fixes everything I break ;)  My jeeps in his shop right now getting an 8.8 put in.

Yup, Dave installed my very first lift back when he was working in half of a two car garage. :o

Or how about doing it yourself? Lift kits especially the cheaper less complicated ones are pretty simple to install.

If you do decide to do an install yourself gather all the tools and do all the research. Figure out  what can go wrong etc.
Make sure you can devote a full 8 hours to it and allow time afterwards for adjustments etc.

If you don't feel comfortable doing that or have the tools etc definitely get someone to install it for you. There are +s to doing things yourself but there are also +s to only having to do something once.
