Good day overall, its amazing what a stock zj is capable of with a can do attitude. Thanks to everyone who waited around while I changed my sheared D30 U joint and thanks again to Colin and Jeff for hanging around after I had to stop and change my  rear drive shaft u joint. Needless to say a trip to pats drive line is first on the agenda tomorrow morning.  I think we had 3 vehicles today break down (myself included). 2 were DNF and thanks to Colin's spare parts I was able to continue.

Did anyone get the mighty hop the killed my U joints on video? and the subsequent crawl up the ledge?

I had a blast! I'm uploading the pics to my google+ as I don't have facebook, the video will be up there soon! I'm super impressed with my ZJ! I know you can't post pictures here so if you want the link just let me know.

Fun day, my friends suburban took the better part of the afternoon to get going.... goddamn gmc.
Melted a wire to the fuel pump and had to get EXTREMELY ghetto rigged, but he got it home and put it strait on kijiji haha

I frickin' LOL'ed hardcore after reading that!!

Glad you guys made it out OK. That cable to the fuel pump looked quite ghetto indeed! But whatever, a trail fix is a trail fix, and it got the rig home!

That wire was what the Previous owner had run through the truck in the first place, ran through a hole in the floor above the pump up along the floor to a switch in the dash with power coming off what were pretty sure was the radio or some crap hahaha.

Yeah had no issues getting her home once we figured out it wasnt getting gas!
