I'm thinking of going up to Margaret Lake this weekend to try the fishing.  Has anyone fished there, how did you do?

I fly-fished it once Tom. Probably ten years ago from my pontoon boat, and I caught a lot of small hatchery rainbow trout and the odd cutthroat trout. You're going to need a boat as the shore fishing is poor.

They stock it with Rainbows. I've heard that it sometimes winterkills because it's so shallow. Never fished it.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

We were up there on the long weekend. My one buddy caught six, but five were tiny. Second buddy caught one, but it was also really small. There are lots, but not much for size.
