Any plumbers here?
« on: October 20, 2011, 06:45:07 PM »
I have 2 short pipes that need replacing but I don't have a PEX crimper.
Small job, but if you're interested I can bring it to you.

Trev can help you out. He's good at plumbing.  :)
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

Got a crimper you can borrow. Have the other style not pex brand but other in 1/2 and 3/4 used on pex plumbing pipe.

Home hardware will usually lend them or rent them. If you took it there you could probably get it done free.

I figured that his work in the badger field would have made sure that he kept his "skills" sharp.

Hd sells the surfit brand pex crimper and it comes with like 30-40 rings for like $25ish.  It's not as good as the ring style, but I did my whole house and have no leaks..... Yet.

If you are unsure, I have 5 plumbers that work for me that probably wouldn't mind helping you out.
