What to do with a bad 2.5 block?
« on: November 21, 2011, 11:56:27 PM »
Just swapped in a 2.5l on a 2000 TJ.

Cylinder 1 pretty scored on old motor as connecting rod let go on piston.  What can I do with the block?   Has a good intake and exhaust.  I don't know if head is good or not.  Symptons of a blown head gasket (lots of coolant in oil in old motor).

Just not sure what to do or where to take.  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks.
