Hydraulic Assist for 2010 Rubicon Unlimited

I'm looking at buying a 2010 that has 39.5's and wondering what they best product would be. Anyone else running one of these?

Also what else should I be concerned about breaking with tires that big?

This is kind of a vague and broad question.  Do much experience do you have with lifted vehicle, especially something with 39s?  Do you know what diffs it has?

There are a lot of different components on a stock JK that are not really up to dealing with that sort of tire size. In order to provide any worthwhile advice, we'd need to know what components have already been upgraded. I would hesitate to buy something on that size of tire unless the other parts of the rig have been built to handle it.

Not sure yet. I'm going to be talking to the previous owner today. I have experience off roading with a stock height CJ and TJ but nothing lifted.

So in talking to the previous owner the 39.5's have only been on since May. It has stock axels but has 5.38 gears. He said it has never been wheeling with the 39.5's but was with 35's. I'm thinking that I'll buy it and sell the 39.5's for some 33 or 35's..... Anyone want to trade tires??

Not only would 33s look silly on something that can fit 40's but the 5.38s would SUCK. Way too much gear. Post a link or pics and details.

5.38 in small Dana 44's. Stock shafts and the tubes have not been sleeved ur looking for lots of problems

I had 5.13's on my rubicon 6 speed chromo shafts and 35's great set up
But again gears were good for offload but in the highway 6th gear 3000rpm = 104km

So with 5.38's good luck seeing 100km on 35's

And those shafts won't last on anything bigger then a 35

I wouldn't buy.

I'm running 5.38s with 36s and hit 100km/h easy. I've  even had it to 120km/h but the IROKS don't like it. Wasn't red lined though.
