k what are u guys runnign a zj runing for shocks i have access to a set of king oem performance shocks for cheap(next to nothing)

going 4.5 inchs on lift coils

fronts are 17 1/2 extended 12 1/2 compressed
rears are 26 1/2 extended 19 1/2 compressed

they came off a 09 chev 3/4 ton cab and chassis truck with awelder on it... got called on a inspection and guy replced them with ranchos( wanted to cry)

and yes irealize the fronts are bushing top so i will have to work around that....

an fyi for ya buddy;

the rough country kit i got came with shocks at a length of 26" extended and some 17" compressed or what not.  that is the same front AND rear.  thats standard for a 4" lift.
thats good enough on a short arm lift.

fraser is running 29" billsteins up front with those barpin eliminator things.  he can drop a coil if he wants.  rears are 28" for his, sitting at some 5.5" of lift or something like that.

k cool so in thereoy i can use the rears in my front... and just order rear bilsteins ... it will be nice to have remote res king shocks up front should help with the flexxin....

now to just sell the rears for him...

see the key to this is he works at a gm dealer and they where a take off from a optimum inspection due to a tiny bit of seepage well they are rebuildable lol.... so free is good for anythign king

I drop a coil every day!! I would hope Fras drops a coil.... or does he need to see a doctor?
if we were smart with our money we wouldn't own Jeeps.

coil spring retainers are even cheaper  :P

I just use my junk white body shocks front AND rear as limit straps  8)....Thats all they are good for isn't it?

Limit straps are cheaper then replacing stretched out springs ;-)
