Any one try this solution to crappy e-disconnects on JK Rubicons? Looks real slick in the video.... Just wondering if Evo's solution works that slick after a day on the trail. For $99 looks worth a try?

The place in the states is actually called "Off Road Evolution" or ORE. They make some VERY skookum JK suspension setups - like the EVO-Lever system.

As far as the "replace the crappy factory disconnect thingamajig" plan...yeah. I think that it's probably the way to guy if you're not just going to rip out the stock sway bar to put in an anti-rock or sway-lok. I'd choose that over "conventional" sway bar discos.

And the place called "EVO" in the Calgary area is no longer.

Name changed to EMF to get away from all the copycats, avoid confusion or something like that.

Is there no way to get a dual rate bar in a JK?

Answered my own question. As much as i usually dislike everything teraflex, this looks like a reasonable setup, and I dont see an ORO Swaylock anywhere for the JK.

Dual rate is always better then disco if you want decent performance out of a coil suspension. Disconnecting is just a band aid.

ORO does make a Sway-Loc for the JK.

The Teraflex system is probably fine....but I think that I'd probably lean towards the ORO.

Definitely more expensive than the ORE option...but you get what you pay for, right? I'd say that the ORE option is a better choice than conventional sway bar disco's, but only because it disengages the way bar without leaving anything dangling disconnected in your wheel wells. The sway bar links stay connected, which doesn't pose any sort of problem as long as they are the right length.
