XJ Steering

I am looking to upgrade my steering soon, and I was just wondering weather I should go with the Currie or the Rugged ridge. I am leaning towards the rugged ridge because it is a little bit cheaper and still an upgrade, if anyone has some input it would help!

Stay away from rugged ridge. Had them and swapped for currie. May work on stock or next to no lift. Tie rod ends are their own. Can not get tie rod ends at parts source And are extremely suspect in quility. Better money spent on gc steering or if you are going to ever go to long arm or more lift then go straight to currie. And then there is the dreaded flat spot on rugged.  If you really want to know what I think if rugged then phone me.

x2 on the rugged ridge - I have it on mine and the dead spot is pretty wild.  A friend took it for a spin on the highway and nearly rolled the ol' wagon.

Haven't heard anything negative about the Currie setup, I'd spend the extra dollars and be done with it.

I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...
