« on: May 29, 2012, 12:12:44 AM »
Hey guys, after looking around for a good priced cargo net i came upon this website, there price was $99 with free shipping, when i ordered the item it derected me to the price of the item with $43 shipping :S i then put canada in the country blank space and the shipping went to "0" so after i paid with paypal the tottal came to $104 from canadian to US dollar, 2 or 3 days go by I sent jeep4x4 an email asking if my item has been shipped and they told me its on hold because i didnt pay shipping... WTF i send them an email saying that it saidd free shipping and that when i paid it didnt tell me to add shipping and no answer yet, I sent them another email stating i want to cancel my order, as i can get it localy for $150...

any thoughts? ideas thanks

buy local if you don't want to pay shipping to Canada.

nobody ships free to Canada.
consider it a lesson learnt, and pay the shipping.

i order lots of stuff from USA. i always look at shipping policy. If you did this, you would have seen this on their site and it even gives you the bonus option of using USPS!:

Worlwide Shipping
Jeep Parts, Accessories and Soft Tops
Shipping Worldwide Shipping Worldwide

We specialize in International Orders from Soft Tops to Body Tubs.

Email Us: [email protected]
International Phone 00-1-954-941-7807

1.    All international shipments are sent either with FEDEX, USPS or freight carriers.

2.    Customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and value-added fees at customs. Custom fees, duties and taxes are accessed by your country at time of delivery. If a customer does not pay the custom fees, duties and taxes upon receipt of their order, we will charge the customers credit card on file for all applicable custom fees, duties and taxes based on our charges from the customs authority. These fee(s) will be charged to the customer's credit card as soon as Morris 4X4 Center receives notice from the specific governmental agency.

3.    At the discretion of Morris4x4center, accepted forms of payment are Credit Card, Pay Pal, and Electronic Transfer of Funds.

4.    Sheet metal body parts and all electrical items are non-returnable. Free Shipping promotions found in web banners do not apply to international, or expedited orders.

5.    We are sometimes asked to minimize the declared value of international shipments in order to minimize your exposure to duties, taxes, and customs. Please don't bother to ask because we are unable to reply with such requests.

i hear ya. i guess letting them know about the error in their processing might help others not think the same thing. i have ordered from them in the past.
