Bought my first topless Jeep...

I am new on the forum but I have been around the 4x4ing hobby for a long time wheeling a number of different rigs.

Have lurked the forum a bit before when I had my 99' WJ.

I am a Kijiji addict.. Last week I stumbled across my newest addition:
1960 CJ-6 350 SBC swap. Partially restored.

I am hoping I got a good deal on it.
It needs some tinkering with..
Headlights and front signals don't work.. Gauges don't work..
Needs to be tuned and I hate Q-jets so it will likely get an Edelbrock Performer carb and left over Air Gap intake from my Nova.
Just minor things that should be easy.

It currently has the 3spd Manual but since my girlfriend fell in love with the Jeep and claimed it as hers, we want to swap in a 700r4.

Are non jeeps welcome for trail runs? I won't likely be wheeling the CJ6 much (I have a 94' GMC Sierra RC/SB lifted on 33" Nitto Extreme MT)
