I'm waiting for rookie recurve from the other thread to jump in and mention something about another full size rig on the trail  after looking at the pictures. :D Although his full size has a winch. ;D

That was a pretty good stuck!!!  Good on you guys for going out to help.  Hope nobody suffered any damage doing the recovery.

None of us that went to help had any damage (albeit a $15 car wash after).  Gord, the guy that got stuck, took his Jeep to the stealership today... his fan, fan belt are toast, and he needs his diff fluid changed out.  They want to charge him $1300.  I told him to go buy the parts and do it himself.  If he's gonna play, he should learn how to fix it!

Nice guy though... very appreciative.  Took us all out for beer and pizza after! :)

I can't believe another tard went out there today... same spot.

I did not see any land-yachts in the pics?  I know my 10,000 lb chunk of Dodge would not need an anchor verhicle to pull this guy out!  Good on all of you for rescuing this guy.  I doubt having a winch would have helped this guy much.  Not wheeling alone would have though!  Hopefully others learn from this guys mistakes.  A Power Wagon would have parted that mudhole like the Red Sea.... ;)

If he did have a winch you would have needed scuba gear to get to it.

So.....who wants to take pics when the rookie tries to put his money where his mouth is?
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

Actually I was really referring to the jeep in the picture and calling it a full size. It looses it's effect though when I have to explain. ::)

Your 10,000 Dodge would have slid into the trees like a pig in crap... it was 6" of mud in very thick grass.

Oh wait... aren't you the guy on the Jeep forum that doesn't own a Jeep??? I think you're on the wrong forum.
