Stuck Brake Hose bolt

Im replacing my brake hoses, on the front and where the hardline attaches to the metal to ruber connecter.  I cant get the hard line bolt to unscrew from that connector I have sprayed penatrating oil on it but it still wants to strip out and not turn.  Any suggestions if you understand what I just wrote :roll:

been there done that, ended up stipping the hardlines all the way around the yj.  If you are just putting linger hoses on you can get the hard lines bent to accomodate up to 3" of lift instead of replacing the soft lines.  If you really need to replace them about the only other option is cutting off the hardline end and replacing with a new coupler and flare.

Make sure you're using a good wrench made for tubing aplications like that. An open end wrench won't cut it. If you can get a good 6 point socket on there then that's the best you can do, if it strips after that well it strips. Maybe some low heat might help, but not very much. I don't know how flammable brake fluid is, but I don't want to be held responsible.

Vise Grips saved the day... the wrench didn't fit as well as I had hoped and it stipped even the metric ones didnt fit well.  After a hour or so it came off and it will never be able to come off again they are so rounded.  I had to replace them because my tires had worn through them because of improper backspacing on tight turns.  Thanks for the replys though
