With all the melt today and the weather people predicting a couple weeks of this sort of weather I want to get a couple more runs in at McLean.
Having spent some time reviewing old McLean Creek maps against the newer edition and realizing that I've spent all my time around McLean in the central and North area, I'd like to do a run through the South half of McLean before we're shut down for the winter.
Was thinking from McLean Creek Road, enter via Fisher Trail West and connect with Silvester Trail then Elbow River Trail to finish up at the store, or the other way around - whatever. About 20km according to the old map...
Being the winch-less, stock unit that SCOUT (the jeep) is, he needs some company to stay safe and happy.
Any interested parties? This is cross-posted to ABJK in hopes of getting a couple committed rigs. Any warnings with regard to the route I'm thinking? Advice? Alternate routes?
Thanks!
