Upgraded battery cables?
« on: December 03, 2012, 05:03:25 PM »
Where can I get some decent battery cables (preferably locally)?
I want to replace the substandard cables that came stock on my heep with something a little better. I am looking for 1 ga. cables with decent ends already attached.

Princess auto has all the stuff to build your own, if I am not mistaken they have the crimper in store to put the ends on right there. I know we go there to build our heavy duty booster cables.

Give Amperage Technology Industries a call... I know the cables they do are awesome. Never had a problem with the set on my CJ7... All custom made just how you want them... Talk to Rich or Dave.

Welding cable works really well and better than automotive cable.  You can buy quality ends many places and put them together yourself.
