stock posi in a 99 tj?

anyone heard of a stock tj w. 307 coming from the factory with positraction?  i redid my gears today, and when i went to take out the rear carrier, my buddy told me it was a posi.  i then put the 456 ring gear on it, and lo and behold, it fit!!!   just wondering if this came as an option, or if i got a freak of nature?  ohh the rear end is a dana 35.

i think saraha's or most of the premium trim packages come with a limited slip, or you could have it added as an option. nice little suprise for ya. lucky duck.

I don't think so.

As Gregg said, limited slip was an option (I have it), but I'm pretty sure it was only available if you opted for the D44 rear.

I'd look it up with your VIN.
