MC2150 Carb Help

So I did the MC2150 swap a couple of months ago.
Now that the weather has changed I was able to take the old YJ out and try her out.

Running, but very poorly. So I took it to my Mechanic ( works on my GMC and family wagon ).
I have been using them since I was 17 ( long time ago ). Very honest, never had any problems with them.

However they can not figure the carb and settings out. Most of the mechanics they have, have never seen a carb, let alone worked on
one.

Who would you guys recommend,

Broken Axle, E-Mortal ??

Anyone else you might recommend who can figure out carb and vacuum line settings and configureations.

What's a carb?   Isn't that something you eat and makes you, like fat and stuff?     

Those guys should be able to help out, but both are probably to young to know what a carb is.....

In all seriousness though. Carbs were dropped from the sait curriculum over a decade ago. You should really pick up the hayns man on carbs and try it yourself. I promise you'll be frustrated, but it's better than throwing money at someone who may just have the same amount of knowledge as you. Also you may want to try Classic/antique car restorers/shops. It's still early someone will chime in with other options though.
I also remembered I had an old Datsun pick up with issues. I ended up pulling the carb off and just spraying the crap out of it with carb cleaner and putting a new gasket on it. It worked like a champ after until the oil pump went

Best thing you can do on the cheap is get the proper needles and jets for our elevation. Did this with my motorcycle and it made everything better. Give the carb a good clean and polish and 95% of carb problems will dissapear. Needle and jet specs can be found using the google.
