YES! STOP SHOUTING AT US!
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

Lmao
The 2 door is really impractical. Seats don't flip far enough forward. There is much less room to get into the back than my yj. Don't know why the engineers did this but it's a heads up none the less

I was going to say something along the same lines.....I myself am looking to not DD the Jeep in the near future, however getting another  Jeep is not part of the plan lol.

My reasons are reliability, comfort and practicality. What are yours? if you don't need a practical vehicle and want a wrangler give'er I understand an XJ isn't really the same.

Practicality is not a major concern. Really would just like a "new" jeep. Ive owned a couple xj's and a yj. Have too say I miss the 2door. It would be my DD. gonna go take a gander tomorrow. Anyway just thought I'd ask. See what ya guys had too say aboot the 13's.

Thanks for ya time

Ride in the JK's aren't bad.  If you don't need the back seat for people I would just pull it out.  The 4 doors do run smoother and have more cargo space though.

The Pentastar engine is quite nice.  Huge improvement over the 3.8 in regards to power.

i'm looking at a 2 door as well - you can get one brand new for 20k.  We just rented one in the usvi and absolutely loved it - was tight for luggage with 2 adults and a 2 year old in a car seat.  Soft top was dead easy to use, pretty impressive power too - and that was with an auto.  Handled quite well for a truck with solid axles, easy to park, pretty comfortable too.  It is hard to get in the back seat though

Would more then likely have the back seat removed. But thanks for the heads up. It's what I wanted too hear!! I am going too look at some "stealer ships" this Thursday and see what's up

Thanks again

I love 2-doors! A little more authentic, turns on a dime, better fuel economy, and better power-weight ratio.
The 2013's have seats that fold forward farther than pre-2011 (not quite TJ-level folding, but better for sure)

Come see me at Tower. I'll do the best I can to get you all the straight answers and clarity I possibly can. If nothing else we've got some 2-doors around the 20k mark (base, base, base) come take one for a spin.

We can also have pretty well anything brought in from around the province if  you need a specific setup, color, etc.. I've brought them in from as far as Cold Lake. No BS, just  a test drive and the numbers.

Ask for Laszlo!

Right on will do! Kinda in contact with a Justin from tower
he sent me something about June 26 0900-2100 sale. I was thinking too come check that out. Thing is I work shift work 1300-0100 so time is of the essence!

If we can set up a time/meeting would that be a better idea?

Absolutely. That way I'll have the time block set aside just for you. I'll be in from 1400 to 2100. Give me a call (PM'd the contact info)
Justin's a great guy, he's the internet manager (of course that means he gets 125+ leads per day and rakes in 6 figures :P ) it's up to you who you'd like to deal with, I've got plenty of time all day and I love this forum/association and love helping out however I can.

Is this the same Laszlo that had the old 401 Waggy about 10 years ago?

I think the jk's have more and better rear seat space then tj's yj's or cj's. so if you could live with any of those then a 2 door jk is better. Pentastar is a huge improvement over the 3.8 but its no 4.0L. But the times they are changing.
