Time to Install a 4" suspension lift? Just over 14 hou
« on: June 20, 2005, 12:03:19 AM »
I wheeled the Jeep into the garage at 9am this morning and by just after 11pm she was sitting on 33x12.5 TrXus tires and RE 4.5 SF control arms with 4" springs, JKS discos and RE front adjustable track bar.   I'll post some photos up in the next day or 2, just way to tired to do it now (and its a little dark to get good photos).

I still have a few little things to do... gotta pickup some rear sway bar links and install... grease everything and double check the torque on all the bolts.   Then its off to the alignment shop.

I figure I could have done it a couple hours quicker if I was using new parts and my garage was a bit more organized ;)

It does look pretty sweet if I do say so my self  :D

I have some previously enjoyed rear swaybar links from a 4" Procomp kit if you are interested?

Picture of the finished project

Still have to:

- install the transfer case drop (have some pretty wicked vibes at the moment).

- retorque everything (there were some odd clunks and bangs when I took it for a quick spin tonight).

- get an alignment
