First time Jeep owner and new to the board.
I just bought a 2002 JGC Ltd and it has the blend doors broken issue.Easily I found the repair tutorials of cutting into the assembly etc but I'm wondering if anyone locally has done it themselves.
I found an alternate repair to the blend door repair kit [url]http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-fix-for-Jeep-Cherokee-AC-Blend-Door-Failure//url] using a 3" metal door hinge which seems like it should be a sturdy fix!
I'm not super confident at this point taking on the job myself,so I'm wondering if there is anyone willing to work something out to get it repaired.
