Yeah I've been missing wheeling lately and I've had an itchy throttle foot. I think the 5.9 might scratch it.

I even had to pay extra for it. The guy told me someone from BC had said they would come and get it so I bid it up.  :o

I want to do 60's but if I find the right 44 for the front I might go that way. I just want to get 37" radials under her.

swap Clays jeep into the niner? i saw you inquiring on it and stuff.  i was tempted to do that if i could have offloaded my ZJ. but it won't sell. lol.

i'm sure you could sell some other parts off it as well if you did get it. looked like a hell of a deal

It's good to see you back into Jeeps and wheeling Will, but what happened to your Honda-powered buggy plans ?

It was a Mitsubishi. Lol. No time. I've been working too much. From early September to some time at the end of January I will only have had 4 weeks off.

Pick these up on my way home. Should be stout enough. Super wide though. Lol. Matched pair from a 2003 dodge ram 3500.

Thats why I went with the ones I did, they were the narrowest I could find in a D60/D44 combo without going custom. And I still had trouble fitting thru the trails on certain trails.

I think they won't be that bad. Most full size axles are around 67.5" wms these are 71" wms but most of the rims available for the metric bolt pattern have around 6.5" of backpacking compared to the 4.5" most guys run. I'll see though.

Hey clay how are the rpm's on 5.38's with 36" tires at highway speeds?

Rpms were fine on highway.  I could do 120km/h. I believe my axles are 65" WMS and with the rims and tires I have they are "comfortably close" to the inside of the wheel well on the rear. On exterme flex it would rub.
