help please with clutch master cylinder

Hello guys/girls so I have a problem been having them all damn MONTH!!!!!!

 First off we had this really bad snow storm and temps went to -40, I work for the rail way train and it gets much colder then normal, anyhow when it was -37 or so I turn my jeep on turned on fine I let it warm up and every thing I come to put it in gear and no go turned the jeep off put it in gear and all it wanted to do was take off on its own..

 I ended up towing it in to the shop where I work and left it overnight, came back the next morning and the shop manager let me work on the jeep in the shop there since I had all my tools.

 It turned out that there was water in my clutch slave cylinder/oil I took it apart and ended up buying a brand new slave cylinder pump that's under the hood and the one that goes on to the tranny.

 I added oil, pumped the clutch got all the air out the system and off I went.
 Now here is the problem, my clutch pedal seems softer then normal or what it use to be, also now when I turn my jeep on I have to pump my clutch a few times before I can put it in to gear..... is there still air in the system or am I missing something? even when I have it on cruse i come to put it back in gear and it wont let me i have to pump the clutch again for it to build pressure or something.

 what is going on here?

 Another thing is when it seized on me that night i pressed the clutch more to see if it will disengaged and i heard a grinding noise did i damage my clutch/ clutch fins? or the clutch bearing?

Sounds like just air in the system. Did you bench bleed the master before you put it in?? If not you probably have tons of air in there.

I olny bled it by keeping the cap off and pumping the clutch it seems to work find now stiff clutch pedal now

yes you got air, I just went through this myself, and after a lot of internet searching here is what I came up with.

You said you replaced the slave on the tranny and the master meaning you have an external slave, properly bleeding an external slave on a jeep is dam near impossible. Some of us have claim to have done it and had no issues but most end up with a not so perfect bleed and have clutch issues. The actual Chrysler Bulletin on bleeding these systems is complex and convoluted and no guarantees that it will work. A quick run down of the procedure was, remove the whole system from the jeep so that you can bench bleed it, build a stopper for the slave so you don't loose the piston, hold the slave at a 30 deg angle while bleeding, press up-down-left-right-B-A-start and you might get all the air out.(or something like that) Chrysler and some after market companies offer a pre-bled system that comes complete with master, pressure hose and slave, its expensive but worth it. Napa or part source  only sell the individual parts and unless you get the bleeding procedure exactly right you will most likely still have issues. My master started leaking so I replaced it, everything was good but just like you it was softer than normal, and eventually it would now work at all.  it takes 20 mins to install the whole system and you're done, no bleeding and it feels like a brand new jeep.

Go see the boys at broken axle and they can hook you up with the complete system and instructions for installing it properly, all your problems will be gone.

Hey man thanks for the reply It ended up fixing it self kinda lol, I got fumed off one time going on a round about and the damn clutch couldn't let me shift gears I ended up kicking it real hard a few times looool and I heared a snap, when the snap happened the clutch became stiff and its been working normal ever since lol
