Sounds about right, I mean it's not like it was a serious offence like smuggling a bag of peanuts on the plane or something.

Yep.. I was working that day, on the ramp, and thanks to idiots like him, people like me are put at risk. Thanks CATSA.

Thanks for scanning me each and every day I come to work, asking me to take a sip of my coffee, and making me turn on my cell phone, Im ok with this, I really am... But I carry my restricted area identity card on my person each and every shift, and believe me, the canadian government, along with the TSA know who I am, and know each and every door I use my card on every night... Yet here comes joe boo, with his pipe bomb, and you give that back to him... yet you question and take away my ballpoint pen which I need for my job?....

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

last time i flew they swabbed me for explosives, like they always do.  i passed. but its like, what if i didn't? 'oh thats ok sir, go through anyway?'

read another article now about how they plan to beef up security so it doesn't happen again..... :facepalm:

That's insane, even Mexico has more security then that. We couldn't go more then 20
KM on the highway from Guatemala without driving through a portable x-ray station.

im sure if it was an ARAB or just a brown guy in general it would of been head over heals over it, but its a white guy that did it as a "hobby" to blow things up
