Hi guys, nice looking group you got going on here!

I got a 2001 GMC lifted and mud ready, am I allowed to tag along with you guys or Jeeps only?

The CJA is a Jeep only club though there are some folks that frequent the board that do not mind wheeling with other rigs on open runs.  There may also be a few jeepers that like the mud here while others prefer to try more technical trails.  Keep in mind you are heavier that a jeep so it can be difficult for a jeep to pull a full size rig out if it's buried.

Keep an eye open in the open runs section and see what's going on.  Good luck!

She's a little big but she's not a 1 ton diesel or anything like that. I don't mind technical trails as long as it's not going to cost me a fortune in broken parts, I just prefer mud.

I'll definitely check for open runs, most of the guys I used to go 4x4n with have all grown up with families and minivans now.

Anyway, I call her the Jolly Roger and she's a 2001 extended cab short box 1500. 9" Lift (3" body, 6" suspension), 5.3 litre, Diablo Sport Chip, Magnaflow Exhaust, 35" mud terrains.

A winch is on my short list of upgrades.

If you are into mud bogging go on fisher east, lots of mud holes and guys that like that kind of thing. Pretty sure you could hook up with somebody. If you want to test the flex in your truck and get it pinstriped go with the jeep guys.

So to sum it up basically if you are looking to mud bog with a full size truck you aren't going to find it here. Due to all the trail closures and negative press "Mud Boggin" is frowned on and everyone concentrates mostly on building their rigs for the technical stuff.
