TnT truss

So ive been thinking for quite some time on what to do with my axles. I have decided on one tons.

My issue is my iro front longarms. And the lack of iro support for front axle swaps.

Will a d60 and tnt truss with ds uca mounts work with my iro long arms?

depends on the D60, a ball joint D60 the pimpkin is over 3inches to driver side, which may cause possible interference issues. are you planning on full width or do you want to cut it down, either way you may encounter some interference issues with drive shaft and upper links. also due to the D60 being bigger the axle separation might be an influence if the y-link will fit or not, custom fab may be required

Custom axles warrant custom suspension. Running that bargain basement crap on a one ton build is about the worst thing you could do.

Sell that crap for 50 cents on the dollar and start doing research on how to attach a 1 ton diff to your rig.

Which shop is doing this? By the end, they're going to love you since you'll literally be putting one of their kids through university.

And yes, ALL your current stuff doesn't get reused.

Ahhh so you also plan on custom suspension, flares, cage/chassis stiffening and reinforcement. Good thing you have a plan, it's gonna get real expensive, real fast.

ZJ.....

Cory. daily drive the ZJ and go buy a YJ on kijiji thats on 37s, or one of the many built rigs that can handle such tires. you will be thousands ahead at the end of the day

I did a 60 swap once .. I figured, whats the big deal, replace existing front axle, probably have to re-do my driveshaft and I'm done right??

It took me 457 days before my Jeep moved again under it's own power .. Do a TON of your research up front, there are numerous issues you need to consider and to plan for.

buy the truss for the D60 with all necessary brackets, tack it on the D60 and see if you can re-use your IRO y-link's. if it doesn't quite fit you can always modify it to fit. I did a T&T D44 truss for Immortal, but I also did a custom long arm for him. The D60 truss with all brackets will run you close to $700 bux plus labor for welding and setup and any custom work required for the links to fit. the T&T truss is for a high pinion king pin ford axle. I'm  back in town in August, get in touch with me and we can talk more about it.

I see now that i might need to fab my longarms. At least i have the crossmember just need the d60
