TJ Hardtop rear glass
« on: September 07, 2014, 07:43:50 PM »
I decided to remove and reprint the hinges on my hardtop rear glass. When I was reassembling it, I shattered the glass. Has anyone had their glass replaced and how much does it cost? I am not going to try to do it myself again because I obviously don't have the skill. Thanks for any help.

I did the same last year. I found a tinted replacement with defrost in South Calgary for approx. $650.00 at GlassMasters. No doubt a whole lot cheaper if you just go for no frills clear.
It's important when you install it that you have all the little grommets and washers and hardware bits and do it properly. Never over tighten any of the bolts.

Windshield Surgeon replaced the rear glass with a brand new tinted glass including defrost for $350. They also replaced my windshield for $200. Good guys
