Has anyone modified a regular shock to fit a 2011 grand Cherokee with the quadralift system?

If your system still functions I wouldn't mess with it... If it isn't functioning I'll assume it's expensive to repair... At that point I'm not sure if regular wk shocks/springs would work. System may not like it.
