fog/driving lamps and relay's

original fog lamps were 55w with a bosch relay,
does relay need to match lamps, like 100w lamps
will fry it or lights be dim or whats the scoop

100W will draw 8.3 amps on a 12v system. Size the relay to the amp draw.
if we were smart with our money we wouldn't own Jeeps.

keep in mind you may need to also match the guage of wire going from the battery to the relay and the lamps. The switch in the jeep will not matter since it will not be taking the load.
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

I didn't know that they taught Ohm's law in plumbing school.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(
