Absolutely :)

I did contact the police in advance but didn't have a good estimate on numbers; I'll find out more info on what kinds of numbers they'd need to officially escort us.

Ditto for sponsors -- even if we only doubled the count of participating Jeeps next year, I would think that's a good number of people to market your business to.

It would be great to get a bit of a Show & Shine thing happening as well, with some sponsored prizes. There were some awesome Jeeps there (my ol' YJ needed some reassurance afterwards ;) so it would be fun to have more of the public out to vote on their favourite CJ/YJ/TJ etc etc as well as an overall People's Choice. The Christmas decorations were awesome as well so should deserve some kind of recognition, too.

So for next year, based on the numbers we saw for year one with very little publicity I think we've got a good case for much wider awareness, and I'll definitely be asking if we can get an escort to help get us through the lights as one group.

The Alberta Willys Association was also interested in having greater representation at next year's event. Unfortunately, I only stumbled across them a few days before the event so they had very little notice and already had their AGM scheduled for that same day.

The topless / windowshieldless Willys got a lot of good looks, smiles and doubletakes driving down Crowchild; it would be awesome if there were a bunch of them mixed in with all the other Jeeps.

I also wanted to do a formal close/thanks but didn't get around to getting that done either...

If anyone wants to help out with planning and coordinating next year's event that would be great. I spoke to a couple of people who had some good contacts and ideas, but the more the merrier!
