The stars have aligned.
« on: April 24, 2015, 09:38:40 AM »
So ladies and gentleman. It actually looks like I'm going to get a Sunday off. So who wants to go wheeling... This Sunday. Come one come all. Let's get out. This is going to be stock friendly as Im taking out my wife's cousins in their Rubi. Also  MacLean is still closed and I believe the winter trails shut down on the first of April. So it looks like an enjoyable country drive to the falls and Margret lake. Have a fire (is there a ban right now??) And have a bunch of roasted hot dogs.

Its kinda short notice. But it'll be fun and relaxing.

Stock friendly? How stock we talking... I just purchased two TJ's, would like to have them both out but only one of them is really set up for off-road use.

Just the common sense stuff required on this run. Nothing difficult, really. Only one real obstical to the falls.
Make sure your jeep is in good condition. NO bald tires. Tow points. A cb/FRS radios. Spare tire. Food and water for ALL occupants of vehicles. And the most important a good fun, attitude. Its gonna be chillyish so extra clothes

I want to say 9ish and the destination of the lake and the falls would be nice. I haven't run lost knife since that thanksgiving... so sure. What do you think? It'd be good to wheel with you again. Just want to get out. We could meet at my house or Smitty's. What you all think??  And Eric... You know you wanna.  It'll be fun watching me get walked all over by a tracker or something again ;)

We'll make solid answers tomorrow.

Bill (eep) and I are going to go out there a little later on. Try to meet up on the trail somewhere.

Great. No real issues till the drive home on 40. Then I blew my clutch master or slave. Oh well. You can't win em all. But good to get out. 2 nice campfires, lots of dogs eaten (insert Asian joke here). Lost knife to the falls. Not as muddy as I thought it was going to be. Overall an epic Sunday cruise
