Wiring problems on a 96 XJ...???

Alright so ultimately I know I can solve this by ripping my entire rig a part... but who really wants to go there without at least trying the local Jeep community for an easy fix first!?
Okay, so every time I hit my passenger window door lock up or down I pop fuse #9 under the drivers side dash... yes I tried both ways and burnt multiple fuses trying easy fixes. I also tore out my entire front passenger door wiring to find a fault that did not exist. I repaired four wires on the drivers side... yet no real solution. All that actually solved oddly enough was my ability to unlock the doors from my power switch on the drivers side with the door both open and closed. As prior to the repair I could only unlock at the drivers door when the door was closed... I gutted my entire passenger door and could not find an issue. Does anyone have any other clues before I gut my entire dash and firewall!?
Any help would be great as this is my final gremlin to track down and I really do not want to gut my entire front end to solve one faulty switch... HELP!?

is the wiring in decent shape where it goes through the rubber grommet between the door and the cab? It seems to rot out pretty good in there...
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

Could the switch itself be bad?  Could be shorting on something.
'00 XJ Classic, 3" OME lift, 32's, custom stereo.

Check the wiring on the drivers door as well. Sometimes it goes thru the driver's control switch and then over.

Well, I fixed all the wires between the doors and body as stated already. I found four on the drivers side between the door and kick plate. None were damaged on the passenger side. I inspected for corroded connectors as well and nothing was damaged. I tried multiple different door lock switches as well. I am really stumped without pulling my entire Jeep apart. I even tried the lock up and popped the fuse. Replaced it then tried down and the same thing in order to rule out the two different relays. Mind you it works from my drivers side without issue so that was a stretch,  but I am getting desperate. I am thoroughly confused at this point. Any other ideas besides ripping into my dash next??? Thanks again.

Are you blowing the fuse when you use the window switch AND the door lock switch or just one of them.  What is fuse #9 labeled as?  Does everything work fine from the driver's side?

Have you ever had excess water in the jeep?  I had similar issues with my '94XJ and eventually discovered that the wires going under the driver side carpet were shorting right to the metal floor due to water and corrosion.  Just an idea.

Only the passenger side power door lock blows the fuse. Windows are all fine and the drivers side power locks work fine. Number 9 is for my radio, dome light, power locks, and I believe one other thing. All of which operate fine. In fact everything does until I click the passenger front door lock up or down.

As for water I rarely ever go near deep water or mud. I prefer the higher drier runs. I have a snorkel and extended vent lines but only for an emergency exit. My body is in great shape with no holes and only minor surface rust. Oh and to clarify the passenger side power door lock itself works from the drivers side. It is just when the switch is triggered on the passenger side that the fuse pops. Also I have tried multiple switches on the passenger side but nor the drivers side. Maybe a short in the master?
