Rust proofing in Calgary
« on: July 19, 2018, 07:42:30 PM »
Hi everyone. It's official - I'm in the Jeep club. Bought our first one - 2018 Wrangler JL, 2dr, soft top.

Anyway, considering rust proofing / undercoating. Didn't do it through the dealer because I don't trust the workmanship of dealerships.

First question, would you recommend rustproofing the underside given our salty roads? If so, where would you recommend? I looked up The Auto Protectors here....pretty good reviews, but please let me know.

Thanks!

I buy a gallon of undercoating and paint it on with a brush for the bottom
check out fluid film.  it's pretty good and just spray it on every spring.

Rust Check done annually. First app is about $250 then about $100 annually. I think their address is MacLeod/42Ave on the east side of MacLeod.
