Tires

The heading will invite much feedback. Well I bought my Rubi last year and got it for a steal. Never spent any money till last Saturday when I sprang for tires. The old BFG Mud Terrains felt like concrete inside would be softer. Thought the Jeep needed lots of work due to low speed vibrations and general slow speed roughness. 4 Wheel Parts installed Maxxis Big Horn 285/70/17. The on road manners now make the truck seem like new. Better steering feel, lighter effort, smooth riding and best of all quiet. The tread looks fairly aggressive so can't wait to get on the trail asap to see how they go. Need shocks and levelling kit to top it off for now. Hopefully MacLean is open and I will head out 25 Aug.
2008 JKU Ruby, Jeep steel bumper, 9500 winch, 2016 5.3 Chev LT & 8L90 8 spd auto, 285 Maxxis Bighorns, MC 2.5" and LC Arms.
